Jackie and Debbie “survived” the Hurley

Posted by on October 20, 2013

Jackie Tegart, MLA Fraser Nicola and Debbie Demare, SLRD Area A Electoral Area Director “survived” the Hurley River Rd on Friday, October 18.

While bumping along the road we discussed the type of condition the road needs to be in to encourage return visitor traffic and property/business investment by Lower Mainland and Sea-Sky residents.  Later in the day, thanks to the fundraising efforts of the community, we took a heli trip which was totally amazing and showed the backcountry recreation and tourism opportunities in our area as well as highlighting the connection the Hurley River Rd. makes to those opportunities for Lower Mainland and Sea-to-Sky residents.

Glad to hear they both traveled the road. Lets hope it results in some improvments in the future ;-)
