Snow Update 3

Posted by on November 13, 2015

No reports yet on what condition the Hurley is in after the storm yesterday.  From what we can see through the clouds today, it looks like the freezing level did rise and icy conditions are possible.

If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions.  Winter driving skills, 4 x4, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel at this time of the year.  A survival/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck.   Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather.  Current conditions may not be reported on this site.  This site is based on Hurley driver updates so please email new road conditions to info@bridgerivervalley.ca or post in the comments below.

The most recent report is from Wednesday afternoon when Ashley, Leo & Samuel came across and sent in the photo below.

Apparently there were about 5 stuck trucks today and the snowcat couldn’t get passed
Probly not a great idea to attempt it

    Wow!

I didn’t want to chance it yesterday with the SUV, so I took the canyon.

I’m surprised to see its still passable.
