June 28 Update

Posted by on June 28, 2019

The Hurley has been graded and is in good shape.  Thanks to Scott Frizzell for the latest update and photo. Came west over the Hurley at 0830. East Hurley in great condition. Pemberton side good. Limited visibility in the pass. Small tree covering 3/4 of the road just east of the Hurley junction.

Came out on the Hurley last Saturday and the East Hurley is smoother than the main Hurley! I think all the rain and extra traffic is making it rough.

On Thursday, July 4th we traveled from Whistler to our cabin on Tyaughton Lake expecting to have a rough ride over the Hurley FSR after the Canada Day weekend. Instead the roughest part of the trip was on the Tyaughton Lake Road.

July 4th update after much rain Hurley is getting really rough again. Pemberton side super bumpy. Gold bridge side not great either especially the climb out of Gold Bridge
