Reports in after the storm last night that conditions were deep and icy and several trucks were stuck and the snow cat couldn’t get by! More snow is in the forecast. It’s that time of the year to start driving through Lillooet to get to the Bridge River Valley. It’s longer but it’s a beautiful drive.
If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions. Winter driving skills, 4 x4, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel at this time of the year. A survival/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck. Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather. Current conditions may not be reported on this site.
