Hiking on the Hurley

There is so much great hiking on the Hurley!  Semaphore Lakes is a popular spot and there are often vehicles parked at the summit to access this spot all season long. Park right at the summit and pick the flagged trail up on the west side of the road.  Bivouac.com has a good trail description and photographs to go along with it.  Page under construction….more info coming soon!

Hello, looking to head to Semaphora tomorrow wed oct 13th. Read your Thanksgiving review but it mentioned heavy trucks for bridge repair or something. Any more info here we should know

Would like to head up that way July 10. I’ve read that some of the lower portions of the Hurley are plowed, but Donnelly to Tenquille was rocky potholes and rough with some brutal sections. Think it might be better by the 10th? That info was from June 8.

The road is not open yet but should be by next weekend. The opening update will be posted on this site when it happens.

Hello – looking to use the road to access to semaphore next weekend (June 3). Is the road open? Snow conditions?

The Hurley is not accessible right now and we haven’t heard when it will be plowed. Check back for updates closer to the date.

Hi, was thinking about planning a trip up to Semaphore Lakes on May long weekend (May 20-22), does anyone know if the roads are accessible now?

    Thanks! 🙂
