{"id":1156,"date":"2013-05-13T09:14:49","date_gmt":"2013-05-13T16:14:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isurvivedthehurley.com\/?p=1156"},"modified":"2013-05-25T13:39:12","modified_gmt":"2013-05-25T20:39:12","slug":"hurley-2013-opening-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isurvivedthehurley.com\/?p=1156","title":{"rendered":"Hurley 2013 Opening Photos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our local SLRD Area A Director\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.debbiedemare.com\" target=\"_blank\">Debbie Demare<\/a> was first across the Hurley this morning and sent in the following update and photos.<\/p>\n<p>Gold Bridge to the East Hurley has heavy traffic with logging trucks and industrial traffic for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boralex.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jamie Creek IPP <\/a>project.\u00a0 The sides of the road have been clear cut for the power lines so this section of road looks a lot different now.\u00a0 Most of the Hurley Road is rough, wet and full of pot holes.\u00a0 The top 2km has slush\/ice sections.\u00a0 The switchbacks on the Pemberton side are in good shape and it&#8217;s the best section of road right now!\u00a0 Please use 4&#215;4 when climbing up from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pemberton.ca\/welcome\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pemberton Valley<\/a> to conserve the road surface.\u00a0\u00a0 There is a broken down sled on the side of the road and also a couple of vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The Cadwallader Bridge by the <a href=\"http:\/\/bralorne.com\" target=\"_blank\">mine<\/a> has been compromised by high water and is closed until further notice.
