{"id":1703,"date":"2015-07-11T08:57:45","date_gmt":"2015-07-11T15:57:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isurvivedthehurley.com\/?p=1703"},"modified":"2015-07-14T11:24:14","modified_gmt":"2015-07-14T18:24:14","slug":"summer-2015-update-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isurvivedthehurley.com\/?p=1703","title":{"rendered":"Summer 2015 Update 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/bcwildfire.ca\/hprscripts\/wildfirenews\/OneFire.asp?ID=538\" target=\"_blank\">Boulder Creek fire<\/a> is still burning and causing smokey conditions on the Hurley.\u00a0 Depending on your time of travel, you may encounter many forestry vehicles heading to or from the fire.\u00a0 This morning at least 40 vehicles were seen all driving with 4 way flashers on.\u00a0 Please give them space and room to drive safely as the dust levels on the road are high. \u00a0The road remains open and is in ok shape with the recent grading in spots.\u00a0 The grading has taken time this month due to the machinery being pulled off the grading to work on the Boulder Creek fire several times.\u00a0 The grading should be completed by 17 July.<\/p>\n<p>The Bridge River Valley is still in the smoke layer but it is clearing in Pemberton and on parts of the Hurley.\u00a0 Clouds could be seen in the sky and a few rain drops came down this morning near the summit.<\/p>\n<p>The Goat Mountain Produce Stand is open!\u00a0 Bring some cash to purchase fresh grown Pemberton produce!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to SLRD Area A Director\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.debbiedemare.com\" target=\"_blank\">Debbie Demare<\/a> for\u00a0 today&#8217;s Hurley update.
