The logging company cleared snow off the Hurley with the grader and conditions on Friday were good. Thanks to Tony Guarascio for the update and photos. New update in from Saturday morning – snowing lightly and -3 at the summit. Thanks to Jim Blair for the update and photo!

Saturday night rain was heavy at times and a total of 18mm fell at Gun Lake. The condition of the Hurley is unknown as of Sunday morning Oct 22.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year, you may be sharing the road with logging trucks and other heavy machinery. Be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions.\u00a0 Winter driving skills, 4 x4, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel.\u00a0 A survival\/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck.\u00a0 Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather.<\/p>\n
