There are no reports of anyone driving the Hurley today. The last update was from Ross who drove it yesterday morning (Friday) northbound and reported no problems until the last big hill before the pass. Big wind drifts covering the road and speed needed to punch through. After the pass was tame and the descent to Gold Bridge was mellow. This was before the 30cm! Word on the street someone drove it last night and said it was sketchy.

There are rumors that the logging company will plow the road on Jan 2 to remove some equipment and this will be confirmed as soon as we hear it from them.

The East Hurley has a washout about 300m east of the junction with the Hurley Main. The culvert is sitting in the channel cut across the road which is 150cm deep and about 300cm wide and impassible by truck or sled. Beavers have since dammed the higher side so expect more washouts in the spring. Both sides of the pond are covered in ice to thin to cross by sled. Thanks to Conny for the update.

The Hurley is getting lots of different types of traffic. The road is plowed narrow so please drive slow and stay on your side of the road. If you have a radio use Resource Road Channel 19.
