Thought I would share a picture of what happened to my car in July, I guess my lug nuts weren’t as tight as I thought they were. Happened on a straight stretch just before the Tenquille trail head where a bunch of switchbacks begin going down to Pemberton.\u00a0
I’m happy to report that after many weeks down in Squamish the car is in much better condition!

If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions.  Winter driving skills, 4×4, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel.  A survival\/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck.   Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather.  Current conditions may not be reported on this site.  Have a safe drive!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
