Grading is underway on the Hurley and the first 6km from Gold Bridge was done yesterday. Please respect the machines working and pass responsibly when they have seen you. Grading exposes sharp rocks and increases the chance of flat tires so be prepared!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to Chuck for this latest update. Just came down the Hurley from Bralorne (via East Hurley) on Thursday July 21. Overall, the road is in pretty good shape. The east Hurley has a couple of small overflows where the stream is running over the road, but nothing deeper than 1\u2019 or wider than 6\u2019 to cross. The washout towards the steel bridge is fully repaired and in good shape.
The main Hurley starting from the steel bridge towards Pemberton is in good shape with a few pot holes and rough sections until you approach the summit. The summit area near the Semaphore lakes trailhead is a bit soft and has more pot holes than the middle, but nothing too terrible. This big hill going down to the Pemberton meadows is better than the summit but not as good as the middle section. The switch backs are rougher on the top half and get better near the bottom. The best part of the whole route is the Lillooet FSR. Recently graded and very smooth.
Again, overall in pretty good shape. Lots of traffic when I came up on Sunday and again on Thursday coming out.  Chuck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
