Thanks to Sal Demare for the first Hurley snow update. I travelled to Pemberton this morning and the grading is almost complete down to the Lillooet FSR.  It is in much better shape. I did talk to the operator and on his return will grade some of the area on the Gold Bridge end again, where has roughened up a bit. The image is from the summit, and the temperature was 1 degree. The Lillooet FSR is still rough in sections with deep pot holes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions. Winter driving skills, 4\u00d74, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel. A survival\/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck. Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather. Current conditions may not be reported on this site. Have a safe drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
