The East Hurley has been groomed!\u00a0 Huge thanks to Phil & Rod from the Bridge River Valley Snowmobile Club who drove the Tucker snowcat up the road in a snowstorm!\u00a0 The avalanche debris at 12km from Gold Bridge on the main Hurley had cut off cat access all winter and that is why no grooming has been done this year.\u00a0 Access to Gold Bridge has been cut off by another wet avalanche at 12km.\u00a0 Reports are in that there is a way to get around the slide, let us know if you make it across and send photos to info@bridgerivervalley.ca<\/p>\n
The grooming is just in time for the Bralorne Backcountry Picnic<\/a> happening this week from March 22 – 25.\u00a0 This is a backcountry ski & snowboard event which will be accessed by snowmobiles.\u00a0 Avalanche gear is mandatory for all spectators.\u00a0 Live music at the Mineshaft Pub<\/a> each night of the event!
