Update from later Thursday night: Reports of the track being icy and a vehicle sliding off and getting stuck.
Came over the Hurley tonight with 12-14 inches at the summit. A grader is working on snow clearing and should have it cleared by tomorrow, they are 4km from the summit. Thanks to Barbara Engstrom for the photos and update. Happy Thanksgiving!

If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions. Winter driving skills, 4×4, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel. A survival/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck. Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather. Current conditions may not be reported on this site. Have a safe drive!

Drove from Pemberton to Tyax.
Road was pretty pothole riddled from the bottom to snowline.
Some small trees had blown down but now clear.
The road over the summit was full plowed by the grader.
I did not need chains. Good tires and 4 wheel drive a must.
