East Hurley Washout

Posted by on June 26, 2020

Update July 3rd – The washout has been repaired. Thanks Scott Holden!

We were sent a photo of a washout on the East Hurley to Bralorne. Water levels will rise with rain and warming temps so be aware the road may not be passable. SLRD Area A Director Sal Demare will report this to MoTI today.

We cycled from Bralorne down on June 30. Two pickups passed up going north. The washout was still passable by trucks but may have grown with rain later that day.

The main Hurley road from Gold Bridge to Pemberton is open. The East Hurley only affects travel to Bralorne.

We are planning to head back to Pemberton from Goldbridge on the 1st. Any news on whether or not the road is passable?
