Hurley is open!

Posted by on June 1, 2021

Thanks to Jacob Oswald for the first Hurley photos of the year! The road has been plowed and it’s rough so drive slow and give the machinery working some space. The grader is working from Green Mountain to the East Hurley steel bridge. The road is narrow, please stay on your side of the road and drive respectfully. This is a great video to watch for safety tips on resource roads.

This site is based on Hurley driver updates so please email new road conditions to info@bridgerivervalley.ca or post in the comments below. Support this website and order your Hurley t-shirts, bumper stickers, can coolers & trucker hats in 3 colours – green/white, black/gold, pink/grey  Click here to purchase Hurley merchandise.  Thank you for your road updates and support and please slow down and drive responsibly!

Rode through The Hurley today, 6 June, on a motorbike and it was in really good shape. The actual road is in the best shape I’ve seen it in the past couple years (probably because its early season and hasn’t been heavily trafficked yet). Easy travel and only one or two spots where you couldn’t have cars pass side by side.
