Thanks to the Valley Wide Forestry Committee for this update on log hauling and heavy machinery use on the Hurley.
Travellers on the lower part of the Hurley FSR should be cautious and expect loaded and unloaded logging trucks travelling in both directions up to the Bridge Main FSR turnoff.
The forestry crew is in the Bridge River area now working. Heavy equipment is being hauled into the work site. Logging trucks will be moving logs from the reload yard at 0.4km on the Bridge Main FSR down the lower part of the Hurley FSR and out Rd. 40 starting immediately.
To make the scales in Princeton trucks will need to leave The Bridge Main by 9am. This has them starting to arrive at the Bridge Main at about 2am and both way traffic until 8:30am.

Is there an update on the Bridge River Main being closed at km 25 due to logging noted below? We will be in area end of next week for a few days and would like to explore in that direction, if possible. Thanks!
It’s closed due to the logging and should re-open in a few weeks.
I was up that way this past weekend and noticed a sign stating Bridge River Main is closed at 25km. Just curious if there is any information regarding when this closure opens up again. Would love to go see what that section of the mountains has to offer when I’m back up there in a month! Thanks guys n girls!
