August 11 Update

Posted by on August 11, 2021

The Hurley is being graded and there have been a lot of flat tire reports. One person witnessed 4 cars all with flats in one drive! Please slow down for the grader operator and make sure you have visual contact before passing in a safe area.

Thanks to Paul for the latest report from today. My son reports the Hurley is in good condition.  Grading going on at the summit.  Descent at the other end a bit bumpy.  Averaged 35 kmh from start at this end to valley bottom at the other end.

A reminder that active hauling is ongoing. Travellers on the lower part of the Hurley FSR should be cautious and expect loaded and unloaded logging trucks travelling in both directions up to the Bridge Main FSR turnoff.
