Thanks to Chuck Townsend for the latest Hurley update.
Just took the Hurley out from the Bralorne on Sunday, Aug 29th.
The East Hurley is pretty much the same as it was on my last trip over (in early July). Good for the most part with a few pot holes and rougher sections.
The main Hurley (starting from the E Hurley turn off by the steel bridge) alternates between rough and smoother sections until you get closer to the summit. The summit itself was smoother than it was in early July and then it again alternates between rougher and smoother sections going down the big hill (and also down the switch backs).
Overall I would say the Hurley is in better shape than in early summer, but some sections are still a bit on the rough side. FYI, lots of cars parked just below the summit (to hike up to Semaphore lakes). Its needs a parking lot up there!
The Lillooet FSR was overall smoother than the Hurley with the exception of a couple short sections.
