“The avalanche tech said the spring avalanche cycle has not occurred yet. Worker and public safety has been considered, so the Hurley FSR won’t be plowed open prior to the Victoria Day long weekend. The Hurley plowing will be assessed in June.”
Another update will be provided when more information is available.
The Green Mountain snow pillow graph is showing that snow levels are still above average. Do not attempt to drive the Hurley, there is still 10 feet of snow at the summit and you will not make it and likely get stuck!
