Great to see the Goat Mountain Produce Stand is open! They have brand new potatoes, beets, zucchinis & greens available. This is the 12th year the family run stand has been open. Bring cash and stock up on Pemberton farm fresh veggies!
Thanks to Sal Demare for the latest Hurley maintenance update from BJ Moore, District Engineering Officer, Cascades Natural Resource District.
We will be putting the crush down most likely later in the summer or early fall. Trying to do so now would mean traffic control, massive delays in works due to traffic volume, and an excessive amount of water needed due to the dry conditions. After talking to multiple contractors this appears to be the best option as we want to get the most bang for our buck and also not have it wasted over the side due to not packing in properly. I know that is rough to hear as some sections really need the attention, but with the approval coming so late in the year we are having some timelines dictated to us.
