Thanks to Scott Holden for this update. Two tow trucks will be out on the hurley about the 8 Km to recover a gravel truck that rolled over yesterday. Expect delays as they will have the road blocked for a while. Graveling has been completed for this year. We will watch weather and may do some more grading from summit to 16 Km if it thaws out.

If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions. Winter driving skills, 4×4, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel. A survival/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck. Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather. Current conditions may not be reported on this site. Have a safe drive.

I have a family member thinking of taking this route to Goldbridge on Nov. 9th, then on to Kamloops.
