It’s that time of the year when everyone wonders when the Hurley will be open to vehicles. Thanks to Sal Demare and BJ Moore for this info.
Avalanche technician Conny reports that he did a flight on the 17th and there was still enough snow to be a concern. He is hoping to do a flight or site visit to the area in the next week and assumes that we are getting pretty close right now for safe conditions to start snow removal. As soon as we receive more information it will be posted here.

When is it opening? No reason forgot to be closed with the snow this year
Would it be possible on foot? I’m planning to ride my bike up there next week.
Any update? I’m about ready to buy my own cat to open it up yearly with no delay. If you are worried about the green slide there is zero snow to the Hurley bridge.
