We’ve been waiting for the update from the Ministry after a week as expected and so far have not heard back from them. Sal contacted the contractor and he was told the avalanche hazard is still too high on the slopes above the road to start work. While there may be no snow below, the workers safety is important and we have to trust the avalanche contractor’s assessment. Sal will follow up on Monday with the Ministry representative to see when the next time that the Avalanche Technician will look at it again.
