Thanks to Chuck for the latest Hurley update.
Came down the Hurley from Bralorne (via the E Hurley) yesterday, so here’s my update.
The East Hurley was about the same as the previous month, being mostly rough spots but not too bad for the EH. Watch out for a couple of branches sticking out in the roadway along that portion.
The main Hurley starting at the steel bridge was a little rough with smoother sections, with the best portion being along the straight parts going towards the summit. Everything on the Hurley that I travelled has been graded and is much better than last month. The big hill going down was pretty smooth as well as the switch backs down to the Lillooet FSR.
As usual, the Lillooet FSR is the best part of the entire connection between the BRV with it being graded to what seems like a higher standard than the Hurley. Not sure if this is possible, but it would be great if the Hurley received the same level of grading as the Lillooet FSR someday. Maybe Hydro can kick in some funding when the dam replacement project gets up and running?
