People have reported seeing a grader working on the Hurley so that’s good news! Sal Demare just sent in this update from the Ministry: Grading has started this week following the contractor’s schedule. I have been in communication with the race organizer and have informed her as to what section the grader is working today.
The World Adventure Race BC has started and will be on the Hurley today. You can follow the progress of each team on their website. This a screenshot of the Semaphore Lakes area as they will be getting off their bikes and climbing Locomotive Mt. The little circles look like check in points. Then back to the Hurley on their bikes taking the East Hurley to Bralorne past Gold Bridge to the BC Hydro Gun Creek Rec Site. From there they get onto the Reservoir with water equipment all the way to get to the Mission Mt road then up and over it. Much more after that.
