Thanks to Sal Demare for the first Hurley snow update. I travelled to Pemberton this morning and the grading is almost complete down to the Lillooet FSR. It is in much better shape. I did talk to the operator and on his return will grade some of the area on the Gold Bridge end again, where has roughened up a bit. The image is from the summit, and the temperature was 1 degree. The Lillooet FSR is still rough in sections with deep pot holes.

Grading downhill from summit

Drove over Tuesday afternoon (Oct 14). They finally started grading and adding material to the Lillooet River FSR, much better than a week ago but material is loose so watch the curves. Beware pointy rocks throughout the whole route!
East Hurley has some increasingly bad sections but most of it is as usual. I probably would not do it in a low-clearance vehicle anymore these days.
Went to gun Friday night. Heavy fog at summit and on descent to Gold ridge. The Hurley is in great shape, as commented by others lilooet fsr is the worst I’ve seen it. The pot holes are terrible. Starting to snow at the summit today (Sunday 12).
I drove over last night (8th) and was at the summit approximately at 8pm and there is zero snow. The drive up was fast, and in fact it was warm enough at the top I had to crack open the window.
