Thanks to John for the latest update and photo. Raining to the top, road fine for now. Bring chains. There is an excavator doing ditch work on the Pemberton side and a grader parked there.
If you choose to drive the Hurley at this time of the year be prepared to experience all kinds of weather and winter driving conditions. Winter driving skills, 4×4, chains and good snow tires are essential for travel. A survival/safety kit are good things to carry in your truck. Conditions can change fast at anytime up there with the fluctuating temperatures & weather. Current conditions may not be reported on this site. Have a safe drive.

We came over the Hurley yesterday (Nov 14th) at 3pm. It had indeed been plowed a few days ago. Some slippery single track spots but mostly ok. I had chains on the front tires of my 4×4. I’m not sure if they will plow it again but right now it’s passable with a truck and chains.
