A avalanche warning from Backcountry Snowcats at the Hurley summit. Had a large avalanche cycle today. Folks must know the danger, Green Mt or East Hurley to Bralorne avi paths would be likely to go if they haven’t released already. Our 4km slide path didn’t hit the road, but was within 30m of it. Any update on the opening for the spring 2026?
Snow is still deep at the summit. As usual, opening will be around the May long weekend.
