Late spring/early summer is a great time for ski touring on the Hurley, especially when the road has been plowed and you can ski right from the vehicle and no snowmobile access is required. This year the plowing was not finished until June 7, a combination of deep snow and mechanical problems. This group skied right past the dozer that had been working for 2 weeks to make it from Gold Bridge to the summit, moving at 1km a day. The group skied Goat Mountain which is located south of Grouty Peak, towards Tenquille Lake. Thanks to John Baldwin for the trip report and photos!
