Hurley Opening Friday!

Posted by on May 30, 2012

HURLEY IS OPEN Thursday May 31!

We just received word from Interior Roads that they have almost completed clearing snow from the summit of the Hurley!  The road should be open for Friday, just in time for the weekend!!   Another update will be made when it’s officially open.

If you are coming over on Friday afternoon, stop by the “I Survived the Hurley”  tent at the East Hurley split (17km from Gold Bridge).   Purchase your  “I Survived the Hurley” T-shirts and Bumper Stickers and show your support and love for the Hurley!  All proceeds go towards the maintenance of this website which is 100% dedicated to Hurley Road updates.  Tent will be set up from 3pm – 7pm.  T-Shirts are $20.  Stickers are $3 or $5 for 2 stickers.

It’s looking like the winner of the Hurley contest will be either Mark N who guessed May 31 or Tony M who guessed June 1st.  Mark and Tony if you are on the Hurley on Friday, stop by the tent to pick up your prizes!  Thanks to everyone for playing guess the Hurley opening and congratulations to the winners!

We are looking for some awesome opening day Hurley photos!  The best photo entries will win a Hurley T-Shirt.  Send your photos to to enter the contest!

Hurley merchandise is also available from the Community Resource Building in Gold Bridge, open Monday and Thursdays from 10am-4pm and also online

Have a great summer season on the Hurley!!  Take your time and enjoy the views up there 🙂
